The BMOD Hub
The BMOD Hub is to be both a physical space and a virtual network for six distinct, but often overlapping, activities. Today, the Hub exists in this initial virtual form, where we share the library of what we have learned, news, a glossary of terms and more.
A “Big Room”
The BMOD Hub is a “big room” where people from across our region can come together to learn, collaborate and build. In lean construction, a Big Room brings a project’s key people together to speed up communication and decisions and to break down silos. It is an approach, not only a room (Lean Construction Institute: Big Room). We hope that one day BMOD will also have a real big room, providing space for all of our activities with a microfactory at its center.
The Hub today
The BMOD Hub is what we strive to create today. A physical hub would come only if funded. For now, the Hub lives here:
