BMOD grows through collaboration. Below are the organizations we have had the pleasure of working with, and what we have done together.
Research collaboration: Morgan State University
Faculty at Morgan State University have worked with BMOD since its start. They lead BMOD’s research:
Existing conditions. Brent Sturlaugson, who directs Morgan State’s Built Environment Applied Research (BEAR) Lab, leads the scanning and analysis of Baltimore’s rowhouses.
Construction management. Kamalesh Panthi studies the safety, risk and cost of renovating them.
Supply chains. Ziping Wang maps the companies and capacities an offsite housing industry in Baltimore would need.

BMOD is actively connecting with officials at the City and State level to find ways to streamline scalable industrialized housing delivery through permitting, codes, and zoning. These are conversations, not endorsements, so we do not list agencies here.
