Welcome, Richard Manekin, BMOD’s First Treasurer
Please join us in welcoming Richard Manekin to BMOD’s Board of Directors. Richard is one of BMOD’s founding directors. When the Board first met, on September 10, 2026, it chose him as BMOD’s first Treasurer. He also leads BMOD’s real estate development work.
Richard is a partner at Workshop Development, a commercial real estate investment and development firm in Baltimore. He began his career at Manekin LLC, his family’s company, where he helped grow the firm from 10 to 150 employees and became a managing partner. He later served as Senior Vice President at CB Richard Ellis, founded Corinthian Realty Partners to pursue value-added investments, and joined former CBRE colleagues to form Workshop Development.
A University of Maryland graduate, Richard has chaired a number of civic and charitable boards throughout his career. He is currently Chair of Jubilee Baltimore.
Richard brings a career in Baltimore commercial real estate to BMOD’s work on sites and development. He serves on the Board with President Christina D. Long, AIA, and Secretary Ethan Cohen, AICP.
